Akademija 28, Monday, October 26 at 8 PM — HOLD ON, DON’T LET GO

A Serbian wedding here begins with the proposal and doesn’t stop until the morning after the celebration—bringing along all the chaos of relatives, traditions, guests, and that familiar “it has to be done.” “HOLD ON, DON’T LET GO” is a fast-paced, high-energy comedy with constant shifts in roles and situations that the audience will instantly recognize from real life. Three actors play dozens of characters, raising the tempo from scene to scene, making this Akademija 28 performance a night full of laughter and wonderfully familiar wedding absurdities.
