Blues and Beer, May 12 – Jazz Jam Session with Young Vocal Talents and a Special Guest

On Tuesday, May 12th, at 7 PM, Blues and Beer on Cetinjska 15 transforms into a true jazz wonderland! The stage will feature rising stars of the vocal jazz scene – students from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, under the tutelage of Professor Vesna Petković. The audience is set for an exhilarating program filled with classic jazz standards from renowned composers such as Dizzy Gillespie, Richard Rodgers, and Lorenz Hart, alongside original student compositions. This year, creativity shines in the arrangement writing, presenting completely new renditions of famous melodies, choir interpretations, and surprises with collaboration from colleagues in the Music Pedagogy Department. The evening is further enriched by the performance of special guest Nadja Ordagić, accompanied by a stellar piano trio: Greg Jdanoff on piano, Maksim Krumes on double bass, and Mario Bošnjak on drums. This is a chance to indulge in a unique jazz experience with a wide selection of beers and a friendly atmosphere. Entrance fee is 500 RSD.
