Blues & Beer, October 18 — ANALOG AI 3-Hour Masterclass in Collective Improvisation, Composition & Artistic Freedom

ANALOG AI brings a three-hour masterclass to Blues & Beer, diving straight into the heart of making music together: how a group can sound like one while each musician keeps their own voice. The session explores listening and responding within an ensemble, taking risks in improvisation, rhythm, harmony, silence and texture, as well as ways to shape musical form in real time without falling into predictable patterns. The program is designed for musicians interested in jazz, free improvisation, avant-garde jazz, contemporary music and experimental approaches, and if time allows, there will also be individual work on instruments. The masterclass is led by Jure Pukl, John Escreet, Jonas Westergaard and Christian Lillinger, bringing an afternoon in Cetinjska filled with hands-on work, open discussion and collective improvisation with some of today’s most compelling names in jazz.
