Bluz i Pivo, Thursday, November 19: Jelena Jovović & Shoomagnions

Jelena Jovović arrives at Bluz i Pivo with Shoomagnions for an evening of contemporary jazz with a strong soul and funk flavor—full of improvisation, rich vocal harmonies, and expressive scat singing. On stage with her are Aca Pejčić on keys, Milan Kekić on double bass, Aleksa Milijanović on drums, Aleksandar Petar on guitar, Kosta Mlačak on tenor sax and flute, bringing a lush band sound and constant musical dialogue between voice and instruments. In a venue like Bluz i Pivo, this kind of lineup truly shines: jazz that breathes, shifts direction from solo to solo, and keeps you locked in from the first note to the very end of the set.
