Blues & Beer, Saturday, October 17 — BVANA AND THE LAGOON JAZZERS

Bvana and the Lagoon Jazzers hit the stage at Blues & Beer with a live set that fuses rap, jazz-funk, groove, and the raw energy of a band that never stands still. Bvana’s sharp rhymes, satire, Belgrade slang, and self-irony are backed by drums, guitar, keys, bass, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone, pushing the whole performance somewhere between tight rhythm, improvisation, and streetwise energy. There’s an extra reason to show up too: their new EP, "Kralj svih Srba," with some songs likely to sound very different from the studio versions in this full-band arrangement. On stage: Ljuba Milošević on drums, Malkom on guitar, Milq on keyboards, Nik Marković on bass, Ivan Klačar on saxophone, Ranki Fanki on trumpet, and Mihajlo Bogosavljević on trombone.
