Buratina Bar, October 6: screening and discussion of “Lost in Translation”

On October 6, Buratina Bar is hosting a special evening with Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation” — introduced by a short talk, followed by the full screening and an open discussion of the film’s key scenes and the tender connection between two lonely strangers who meet in Tokyo. The program is led by film historian Aleksandra Sidorova, so this is more than just a movie night: it’s a deeper look at one of the defining titles of 21st-century American indie cinema. The evening starts at 7:30 PM and blends context, the film itself, and a conversation that leaves room to explore the atmosphere, the characters, and the subtle shifts that make this film unforgettable.
