Cultural Center of Students' City, October 23 – November 14, 2026 — exhibition “BEREGINJE – The Ones Who Protect”

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 23 at 7:00 PM in the gallery of the Cultural Center of Students' City and remains on view until November 14, 2026. Visitors will see works in drawing, painting, mixed techniques with embroidery, and spatial installations that explore ethnographic heritage, traditional ornament, and motifs from Slavic mythology. At the heart of the exhibition are the BEREGINJE, seen as protectors and guardians of the home, while contemporary artistic approaches connect ancient symbols with the fresh perspective of young female artists today. The exhibition brings together works by Natalija Veličković, Katarina Maričić, Ognjena Gagić, Jovana Brujić, and Milica Đukić, as part of a joint artistic and research project by the Association of Art History Students “Rozeta” and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
