Student Cultural Center Movies - April & May Workshop: 'Between Memory and Image'

Students from all faculties have a unique opportunity to discover their own cinematic expression through a creative process at the 'Between Memory and Image' workshop at the Student Cultural Center! Participants will engage in exploring documentary film essays and diary films from April through part of May, leveraging their mobile phones or cameras with guidance from experienced mentors at the Academic Film Center. This workshop is designed to inspire experimentation and help find a personal cinematic language - recording daily moments and contemplating the relationship between images, sound, and text. Special focus is given to analyzing examples, discussions, and practical exercises. By the end, each participant will create their own short film to be publicly screened and discussed with an audience. Participation is completely free, with limited spots (10-12 participants), and all applicants go through a brief interview with the mentors.
