Studentski Grad Cultural Center, Tuesday, November 10: Book Launch of “Biljana and the Others – The Poetics and Politics of Biljana Jovanović”

An evening dedicated to literature at the Studentski Grad Cultural Center puts the spotlight on Sonja Veselinović’s book “Biljana and the Others – The Poetics and Politics of Biljana Jovanović” and opens a conversation about an author whose work continues to resonate today. At the Dragan Ve Ignjatović Magistrala Club, the discussion will explore literary creation, social engagement, marginalization, and Biljana Jovanović’s place in the literary canon, along with a broader view of the relationship between literature, politics, rebellion, and personal freedom. The panel features Miroljub Stojanović, Silvija Dražić, and the author Sonja Veselinović, with Tamara Mitrović moderating the program. This event is for anyone interested in contemporary literary thought, women’s authorship, and the legacy of one of the most distinctive writers of the second half of the 20th century.
