Student Cultural Center — Tuesday, November 3: monodrama “Unicorn”

The Big Hall hosts the monodrama “Unicorn,” presented by the Serbian Theatre in Hungary from Budapest. Based on the real-life experience of actress Monika Pešić and her struggle with illness, the performance was transformed into a dramatic text by Laura Topolčanyi and staged by Anastazija Kargina as a powerful and deeply intimate theatre experience. At its heart is a heroine who sets out on a dangerous journey in search of a magic elixir to defeat a monster, and through this modern anti-fairytale it explores courage, the will to live, and the art that remains after a person is gone. The role is played by Alisa Lacko, with music by Irena Popović Dragović and costumes by Boglarka Bakoš.
