Dom omladine Belgrade, October 22, 2026 – Chicago Underground Duo: Rob Mazurek & Chad Taylor

Chicago Underground Duo comes to the Belgrade Youth Center on October 22 at 9 PM, with Rob Mazurek and Chad Taylor delivering a set that blends improvisation, electronics, and open-ended, unpredictable sonic journeys. Mazurek guides the trumpet and electroacoustic textures through the experimental paths he’s known for, while Taylor’s drumming keeps the music grounded one moment and pushes it into complete freedom the next. After a long break, the duo is active again with the album Hyperglyph, making this concert especially meaningful as the result of years of collaboration between two artists who keep expanding contemporary jazz toward the avant-garde and sound exploration. The concert is part of the 42nd Belgrade Jazz Festival and the Ušće of Jazz program.
