Dom Omladine Belgrade, September 25, 2026 — 73rd March Festival: National Competition Program

Five films share one festival slot at the Dom Omladine Belgrade, and the national competition program of the 73rd March Festival opens the door to a striking mix of worlds and styles. On screen are Luka Marinčević’s "How I Met My Bunny," a poetic story of the White and Brown Rabbit woven with symbolism, love, and the courage to face fear; Mirela Srebrić’s "Tree of Life," a darker tale of a lonely man, a strange plant, and greed disguised as care; Damir Romanov’s "I Am Akiko," about a girl whose imagination keeps pushing the limits of reality; and Zoran Ilić’s "A Story About Me," told through the perspective of a wristwatch that returns to the light after years of being forgotten. The program closes with Aleksandar Ćirić’s "Debtor to the Dead," a documentary about Dragoljub Zlatković and his decades-long dedication to preserving the folk heritage of the Pirot region. This is a festival night for audiences who enjoy moving from animation to short fiction and documentary all in one breath.
