Youth Center of Belgrade, 26 September 2026 – 73rd Martovski Festival: Roš

The documentary Roš tells the story of Đorđe Roš, the only non-monk buried at Hilandar. It traces his roots, diplomatic career, art collection, and his connection to Major Gavrilović, whose famous 1915 speech to the defenders of Belgrade was preserved by Roš himself. As part of the domestic competition program of the 73rd Martovski Festival at the Youth Center of Belgrade, the screening is accompanied by Dušan S. Krstić’s film, which, through testimonies from researchers and experts, reveals a remarkable figure at the crossroads of history, culture, and memory.
