Dorćol Platz, September 25: Screening of the documentary film “My Bitter Wounds”

The documentary film “My Bitter Wounds” tells the story of Tuzla-based singer-songwriter Faruk Ibrišimović, an artist who wrote his own songs in the 1980s, marked by powerful lyrics about love and life lived with the experience of childhood paralysis. The film also highlights his 1985 meeting with Jasmila Štumpf, which led to four songs, as well as the return to those recordings four decades later, when long-unreleased material finally came back into the light. Directed by Zoran Pavljašević, the film screens as part of the special Dok’n’Ritam program at Dorćol Platz, starting at 5:30 PM.
