Belgrade's art scene is enriched with the exhibition ‘Unequal Geographies’ by the art group diSTRUKTURA, opening to the public on March 26 at 7:00 PM at Dots Gallery. With a multidisciplinary approach using paintings, photographs, videos, and drawings, Milica Milićević and Milan Bosnić explore the intertwined relationships between landscapes, communities, and power. Their new series of works opens a dialogue on important issues of ecology and economy, questioning the role of humans as observers and participants in the changes of modern society and nature. This exhibition, part of the ‘Possibility of the Sublime’ project, is realized through the collaboration of several significant galleries and institutions from Serbia, and the setup in Belgrade provides the audience an opportunity to experience the complexity of contemporary art firsthand. The project curator is Dr. Sanja Kojić Mladenov, and the DOTS Gallery curators are Mirjana Dušić and Ljuba Jovićević. Join us for the opening and be part of the artistic conversation about the past, present, and future of landscapes and society.
