Društveni Centar Oktobar, Saturday September 19: screening of "Negro Terror" and an oi!/street punk night

At Društveni Centar Oktobar, the evening kicks off at 8 PM with a screening of "Negro Terror," John Rash’s 2019 documentary following the band of the same name from house parties to the place they carved out for themselves on Memphis’ underground hardcore punk scene. The film also centers on Omar Higgins, the vocalist and bassist to whom it is dedicated after his sudden passing in 2019. After the screening, from 9 PM on, the hangout flows into an oi! and street punk selection, keeping the night going with raw sound and the kind of atmosphere that naturally grows out of the story on screen.
