Social Center Oktobar, Tuesday October 6: Screening of The Truman Show

🎬 The Truman Show on the big screen tells the story of a man living in a perfectly staged world without realizing it. At Social Center Oktobar, Peter Weir’s 1998 film is being shown, running 1 hour and 43 minutes, with Jim Carrey in one of his most iconic roles. As Truman slowly begins to notice the cracks in an everyday life that feels too polished to be real, the film raises questions about privacy, control, the media, and the line between life and spectacle. A screening for everyone who likes films that stay with you long after the credits roll.
