Ethnographic Museum, September 21: Exhibition “Serbian Weddings 125 Years Ago”

Wedding customs, traditional costumes, photographs, and museum objects open a window into one of the most important moments in the traditional life of the Serbian people. At the Ethnographic Museum, visitors step into a story of the wedding not only as a celebration, but as a family, social, and ritual event that brings families together, strengthens the community, and marks a major life transition. The exhibition “Serbian Weddings 125 Years Ago” is curated by Tijana Čolak-Antić and is part of the 125th anniversary program of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.
