In the heart of Belgrade, at the Manak House in the Ethnographic Museum, a new Spring Cycle of the Weaving School on horizontal looms is opening its doors! This educational workshop gathers all enthusiasts of traditional crafts and creative expression, offering the chance to master both basic and advanced weaving techniques under the expert guidance of artist Ivana Čolić. Participants will work in small, carefully selected groups to ensure a dedicated approach and comfortable atmosphere. The entire program lasts three months, meeting once a week, with an option for Mondays or Wednesdays, from 5 to 8 PM. During the workshops, various weaving styles are taught, from plain weave to various twills and block weaving, with a rich selection of wool and cotton yarns and all necessary equipment provided. This school offers more than just a skill – it provides a chance to feel the spirit of Serbian tradition and preserve heritage in a modern way. Spots are strictly limited due to small group work, and applications are open until all spots are filled. A perfect opportunity for those who wish to learn weaving and create unique handmade items!
