The monodrama “Mother Kozara” will be performed in the cinema hall of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade as part of the “Days of Srpska in Serbia” program. Based on Skender Kulenović’s poem “Stojanka, Mother of Knežopolje,” the play tells a powerful story of suffering, motherhood, and the pain of Kozara through the fate of one woman. Directed by Maja Kolundžija Zoroe, who also plays the lead role, the production comes from the Public Institution Memorial Area “Donja Gradina.” This is an evening for audiences looking for a strong, focused stage performance and a theme that stays with you long after the curtain falls.
