Gallery Novembar, Saturday 17 October: Opening of Luka Jendrišek’s exhibition “The Nightmare of All Fathers”

On Saturday at 1 PM, Gallery Novembar opens Luka Jendrišek’s solo exhibition “The Nightmare of All Fathers.” Through images of vulnerable and injured bodies, along with the motif of castration, the works ask how contemporary society reacts to any deviation from the imposed norm and how ideas of masculinity, power, and sexuality begin to fracture under that pressure. An important part of the exhibition is also the curatorial framework by Ana Simon Zelenović, which further guides the reading of the show toward the theme of sons rejecting an inherited legacy of power. For audiences following contemporary art, this is an opening with a clear concept and strong, direct motifs that deserve time and attention.
