Gallery Novembar, Saturday, August 29 at 1 PM — Opening of Boris Lukić’s exhibition “Private Nude”

Watercolor here moves beyond the classic portrait, capturing situations, glances, and bodies removed from their original context. At Gallery Novembar, Boris Lukić presents “Private Nude,” a body of work created from photographs of unknown origin found online during a period when live models were not available. This distance from the given “reality” shifts the mood of the works: instead of straightforward depiction, visitors are met with scenes that speak more about atmosphere, gaze, and our relationship to the image than about the identity of the person portrayed.
