Stara Kapetanija Gallery, May 26, 2026: Spring Exhibition – Group Show of Contemporary Art

The traditional Spring Exhibition 2026 opens on Tuesday, May 26 at 7 PM, at the Stara Kapetanija Art Gallery in Zemun, and will run until June 7, 2026. Organized by the Society of Fine and Applied Artists of Zemun, it brings together 46 artists – academic creators and members of ULUS and ULUPUDS. The audience will experience recent works in painting, graphics, ceramics, photography, digital media, and sculpture, along with other forms of visual expression. Diverse generations, poetics, and media together create a multi-layered picture of the contemporary art moment in Zemun – from introspective works born out of silence to those striving for dialogue, play, or reactions to a changing world. The exhibition curators are Zorica Nikić and Mariola Pantelić. Located at Kej oslobođenja 8 in Zemun, the Spring Exhibition has been a key gathering place for Zemun's art scene for decades.
