Gallery Stara Kapetanija, October 27: Opening of Anja Živković’s exhibition “Call Me Goddess”

Anja Živković presents her first solo exhibition, “Call Me Goddess,” at Gallery Stara Kapetanija on October 27 at 7 PM. The exhibition brings together stone sculptures and paintings that explore the female figure as a space of strength and vulnerability, tenderness and resistance, presence and absence. Rather than offering one fixed definition, the woman here appears as a symbol linking the personal and the archetypal, the mythical and the everyday. The works draw on roots, tradition, folklore, and Slavic mythology, with curatorial guidance by Mariola Pantelić.
