Goethe Institute – German Cultural Center, October 17, 2026: October Swap Clothing & Book Exchange

On October 17, the Goethe Institute library hosts October Swap — an afternoon exchange of clothing and books that brings together sustainability, the joy of finding great pieces, and friendly conversations among people who love discovering items with a story. Bring selected, clean, and well-preserved clothing pieces and books that no longer fit your home, and leave with new reads and garments ready for a second life. A cozy book corner runs at the same time, so between browsing the shelves and racks you can talk about what you’re reading, recommending, and remembering. The rules are simple: up to five items per category per person, no children’s clothing, underwear, socks, or swimwear, and you can take home as many clothes and books as you bring.
