Goethe Institute - German Cultural Center, May 30, 2026: May Clothing and Book Swap with Upcycling Workshop

The Goethe Institute Library in the heart of Belgrade is once again opening its doors to all lovers of sustainability and community! On Friday, May 30th from 4 PM to 7 PM, visitors can bring up to 5 pieces of carefully selected, clean, and well-preserved clothing and books, and in exchange, find new treasures for themselves. The rules are clear – clothing must be in excellent condition, and children's clothing, underwear, socks, and swimsuits are not allowed. Additionally, this time a special clothing upcycling workshop is organized where participants will learn through practical advice how to breathe new life into old clothes, thus contributing to waste reduction. No prior knowledge is required – just come with your clothes and a desire to learn something new! This event is an ideal opportunity to refresh your wardrobe, renew your library, and take a step forward towards a sustainable lifestyle together with others.
