Institut français de Serbie, September 4: Ephemeral Confessions – A Study of a Corrupted Case

Ephemeral Confessions comes to the French Institute in Belgrade on September 4 at 6:00 PM for a talk as part of the Queer Zone festival. Zoja Borovčanin, Marija Balubdžić, Andrej Ostroški, and Vladimir Bjeličić will discuss the collective’s work, the making of the exhibition "Thursday," shown in 2024 at the Art Gallery of the Cultural Centre of Belgrade, as well as the broader field of their performative, musical, and audio-visual practice. The audience can look forward to a meeting with a post-cabaret approach that opens up questions of performance, drag, and queer artistic expression, in a conversation that stays close to concrete creative processes and the socio-political context from which this work emerges.
