French Institute of Serbia, June 10 - July 10 – Exhibition 'Surrealism on Paper: The Eye in a Wild State'

This summer, the French Institute in Belgrade becomes a true oasis of surrealism! The 'Surrealism on Paper: The Eye in a Wild State' exhibition offers visitors a chance to dive into the world of dreams, the subconscious, and imagination through drawings, collages, graphics, ink art, and experimental photography. This extraordinary display, the first of its kind in Serbia, is dedicated to the great André Breton, marking 130 years since his birth and 60 years since his passing, created in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. Each piece takes you on a personal journey through unexplored realms of reality, freeing the gaze from everyday constraints and opening doors to new ways of experiencing art.
