Jewish Cultural Center, April 23 - Play ‘Addressee Unknown’ on Holocaust Remembrance Day

On April 23, at 8 PM, the stage of the Jewish Cultural Center will host the powerful and moving play 'Addressee Unknown', based on the renowned novel by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor. This dramatization, in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, explores the mechanisms of fascism, antisemitism, and intolerance towards minorities through a story that, while set in the past, remains deeply relevant. Actors Ivan Jevtović and Stefan Trifunović bring the characters caught in the whirlwind of history to life with their compelling performances, while Stefan Sablić is responsible for direction, translation, adaptation, and music selection. Viewers will be led through an emotional journey, emphasizing the importance of memory and empathy in today's society.
