Jewish Cultural Center, Saturday, October 17: The Proposal - The Bear

Chekhov’s one-act plays "The Proposal" and "The Bear" come to life at the Jewish Cultural Center in a whirlwind of hilarious romantic entanglements, clashes of character, and lines that hit straight at the ego. Anja Josifovski, Sara Cizelj, Ivan Jevtović, and Branislav Zeremski lead the audience through characters who are both funny and painfully true to life, while Stefan Sablić’s direction keeps the focus on relationships, temperament, and the small flaws that create the biggest chaos on stage. A theatre evening for everyone who loves sharp wit, romantic misunderstandings, and a classic that still feels fresh and alive in front of a live audience.
