KC Grad, October 27 – Book Launch for “Nadežda” and “Poluistine”

An evening of literature at KC Grad brings together two new books that dig into memory, identity, and what people call the truth. The event features Aida Hoffman’s “Nadežda” and Ivan Đurđević’s “Poluistine,” with the conversation moderated by Vojislava Crnjanski Spasojević. “Nadežda” follows a search for a place that can truly be called home, moving between past and present, two cities and two languages, while “Poluistine” explores the tension between memory and forgetting through a family story about a father and son. A perfect evening for anyone drawn to contemporary fiction and thoughtful conversations that linger long after the books are introduced.
