KC Grad, September 29: Opening of Cecilia Hendriks’ exhibition “In Your Stead”

Cecilia Hendriks opens her exhibition “In Your Stead” in the gallery space of KC Grad on September 29 at 8 PM. The starting point is the modernist villa Huis van Gelderen in Enschede, but the exhibition goes far beyond documenting a place: through objects, models, textiles, and architectural scales, traces of one location arrive in Belgrade and take on new relationships and new meanings. In the gallery, architecture, memory, materiality, and the shifting of context intersect, making this opening an encounter with works that transform the moment they change space.
