KC GRAD, November 9, 2026 — EARTH WORKS / Exhibition Opening by Ekaterina Shcherbakova

Earth, clay, and traces of place take center stage at the opening of EARTH WORKS at the City Gallery of KC GRAD. Ekaterina Shcherbakova presents objects, installations, and documentation of performances and actions created through long-term work with earth-based materials, where personal experience collides with questions of territory, origin, and belonging. Through gathering, relocating, burying, and transforming, the works explore our relationship to the spaces that surround us and to the right to claim a place as one’s own. The opening begins at 8:00 PM and offers audiences an introduction to an exhibition that treats earth both as a physical material and as a political space.
