Kolarac, 10 November 2026 — WAGNER & LISZT: A MUSICAL DIALOGUE

Pianist Maja Rajković presents a recital in the foyer of the Kolarac Endowment that brings together two giants of Romanticism through music, revealing just how closely Richard Wagner and Franz Liszt were connected both artistically and personally. Guided by Slava Vlasov, the program moves from rarely performed Wagner miniatures for piano to Liszt’s transcriptions of excerpts from Tannhäuser, Lohengrin, and Tristan und Isolde, as well as carefully chosen Liszt works ranging from late, intimate pages to dazzling virtuoso pieces. This is an evening for anyone who wants the piano to speak as story, as history, and as a powerful dialogue between two distinct yet deeply intertwined musical worlds.
