On the evening of June 28th, the spotlights at KPGT Theatre illuminate a unique opportunity for spectators to experience one of the most provocative and important plays in modern theatre – 'Insulting the Audience' by Peter Handke, directed by Ljubiša Ristić. This play, Handke's first theatrical work, fundamentally questions the role of the audience and the boundaries between stage and spectator, providing an unflinching critique of theatre history. Featuring notable actors such as Milan Pelivanović, Dina Vučaj, Eldar Zubčević, and many more, with musical accompaniment by pianists Vasilije Bogić and Vasilije Pucar, under the baton of conductor Obrad Radulović. The performance lasts 60 minutes, and the ambiance of the Old Sugar Factory adds to the distinctive experience of this eccentric and modern theatre. Tickets are available online and at the box office, with special discounts for students, seniors, and groups. This is an opportunity for audiences to experience a work that has redefined the boundaries of art and posed new questions about each of our roles in the theatrical act.
