Cultural Centre of Belgrade, September 17: A Crack in the Ice

On the same day at 8:00 PM, the Dvorana of the Cultural Centre of Belgrade screens A Crack in the Ice, Maja Miloš’s film about Marija, a young figure skater from the outskirts of Belgrade who is trying to keep her life together in the face of family loss, mistrust, and financial pressure. As tensions rise at home and long-buried secrets come to the surface, the film draws you into a powerful family drama led by Jovana Stojiljković, Marko Grabež, Anđela Jovanović, Nataša Ninković, and Ljubomir Bandović. The film has also been featured at festivals in Sarajevo, Herceg Novi, and Niš, where Jovana Stojiljković received the Carica Teodora award for Best Leading Actress.
