Belgrade Cultural Centre, October 22–28: THE ONE WE LOVE

At the Hall of the Belgrade Cultural Centre, from October 22 to 28 at 8:00 PM, THE ONE WE LOVE screens — Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s new film about a celebrated Spanish director who re-enters the life of his estranged daughter as they work together on a movie. What begins as a professional collaboration slowly opens up long-buried family tension, with the story unfolding through the collision of art, failure, and unresolved relationships. Starring Javier Bardem, Victoria Luengo, Melina Matthews, Marina Foïs, and Raúl Arévalo, the film arrives in Belgrade after making the rounds of major festivals, from Cannes and Toronto to Karlovy Vary and FEST.
