KCB, September 3, 2026 — Exhibition Opening: STATES OF DREAMING

Short films by artists from around the world open up a space between dream, memory, fantasy, and possible futures. At Podroom Gallery, the exhibition STATES OF DREAMING begins, this year's AFI program that uses moving images to explore altered states of consciousness and the points where reality bends into the imagined. The works draw on a wide range of film and visual approaches, from analog imagery and archival materials to CGI animation, special effects, and artificial intelligence. Participating artists include Dalia Al Kury, Sanja Anđelković, Anca Benera and Arnold Estefan, Anette Gellein, Abdul Hamid Mandgar, Heesoo Kwon, Cocoy Lumbao, Isabelle Nouzha, Elinor O’Donovan, Ahmet Rüstem Ekici and Hakan Sorar, Sin Wai Kin, Kialy Tihngang, Mykolas Valantinas, and Melisa Zulberti. The opening is for everyone who loves contemporary art, experimental film, and exhibitions that expand the way we see.
