Cultural Centre of Belgrade, July 9–15: Film Screening 'Romería'

At the grand screen of the DKC, audience members have the chance to watch the exceptional film 'Romería' directed by Spanish filmmaker Carla Simón. This heartfelt drama takes you through the emotional journey of eighteen-year-old Marina, who after growing up without parents, meets her paternal grandparents. As she tries to find her place among her new relatives, Marina uncovers parts of the past and memories long faded. The film has been acclaimed by critics and audiences at festivals in Cannes, Miami, Sydney, and El Gouna, where it won a special recognition.
