Cultural Center Čukarica, March 17: Charity Performance "Our Journey" for National Breast Cancer Awareness Day

An evening of strength and inspiration awaits the audience at the Cultural Center Čukarica on March 17 at 7:30 PM, with the performance "Our Journey." This special event, dedicated to National Breast Cancer Awareness Day, brings together actors from the Sombor Society for Cancer Support and the Apatin "Hope" association—individuals who have overcome this formidable disease and found new strength through art. With an average age of 70, they authentically share their personal stories, fears, challenges, and victories, showcasing extraordinary resilience and empathy. The script is written by Biljana Benić, and directed by Dušan Gladić, both of whom also perform on stage. The inspiration comes from acclaimed collections of stories that celebrate life and unity. The performance lasts one hour, delivering a powerful message of mental health and support. Entry is free with a voluntary contribution, with all proceeds supporting cancer survivor associations in Sombor and Apatin. A donation box will be placed at the entrance of the hall.
