Cultural Center Čukarica, September 21, 2026 — Carpet Patterns Then and Now

The colors and motifs of traditional carpets become the starting point for a children’s painting workshop beginning at 11:00, led by Vesna Šivert. “Carpet Patterns Then and Now” introduces the youngest participants to the world of ornaments, heritage, and artistic expression through a creative activity that blends tradition with children’s imagination. As part of the European Heritage Days program at the Cultural Center Čukarica, this workshop gives children the chance to explore through painting how old motifs continue to live on today.
