Kvaka 22, Friday, October 16: “Bullet for a Badman” Live + DJ Vuča

Feel the pulse of Afro-funk and contemporary jazz collide live as Belgrade instrumental collective Bullet for a Badman takes the stage at 9 PM. Ivan Simić’s guitar shapes the band’s signature sound, while the rhythm section and horns drive the music through energetic, playful, and tightly performed passages. The lineup features Milan Simić on bass guitar, Dušan Petrović on baritone saxophone and flute, Đorđe Petrović on drums, and Petar Milanović on tenor saxophone. Before and after the concert, Dejan Vučetić Vuča — founder and frontman of Darkwood Dub — serves up a deep dub reggae selection ranging from rocksteady and roots to dancehall, steppers, electro dub, and dub techno. At Kvaka 22, this night brings live concert energy and a dubwise DJ set together in one place.
