Kvaka 22, Wednesday, October 7: Screening of MIDNIGHT COWBOY

John Schlesinger’s cult classic comes to Kvaka 22 on Wednesday at 8:00 PM, starring Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman in the story of two outsiders drifting through a harsh New York and exposing the myth of the American Dream. The film lays bare poverty, loneliness, sexuality, friendship, and survival with no gloss and no mercy. MIDNIGHT COWBOY remains an underground classic from 1969 and is still remembered as the only X-rated film ever to win the Oscar for Best Picture.
