MTS Hall, October 17: Grand Gusle Evening – TESLA, the Light-Giving Hero

Gusle, ethno singing and a spiritual program come together on one stage on October 17 at MTS Hall. The evening begins at 7:00 PM and is dedicated to the 170th anniversary of Nikola Tesla’s birth, featuring a song inspired by the book "The Spiritual Image of Nikola Tesla" by Father Oliver Subotić, who will also speak about Tesla’s spiritual legacy during the event. Performers include the gusle players of the Sandić Gusle School, ethno singer Marija Sandić, and renowned names of the gusle tradition Boško Vujačić, Goran Perović Cuca, Marko Šćepanović, and Milovim Trebješanin. The program is further enriched by Serbian Orthodox chanters and a spiritual stage piece by the Spremo family with the Folklore Ensemble "Mladost," giving the evening both a musical and theatrical dimension.
