mts Hall, December 22 at 8:00 PM — New Year’s Rock Opera

On December 22 at mts Hall, rock classics return in a grand, festive orchestral form. The Choir and Orchestra of the SNP Opera Novi Sad, the Novi Sad Big Band, and vocal soloists perform a powerful program built from songs that shaped the history of rock. Under the baton of Fedor Vrtačnik, soaring vocals, rich arrangements, and iconic melodies by Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Van Halen, Tina Turner, Prince, and Toto come to life on one stage. A special part of the evening is devoted to Queen, as a tribute marking 80 years since Freddie Mercury’s birth. With Jana Šušteršič, Bojana Stamenov, Mattia Zanatta, and Zoran Šandorov on stage, audiences can look forward to a concert that transforms rock songs into a more lavish, celebratory format without losing their power.
