Saturday, 19 September 2026
08:00 - 16:00h
Muzej afričke umetnosti
Andre Nikolića 14, Beograd
Across two festival days at the Museum of African Art, short films from different corners of Africa take turns on screen, offering stories that move from historical themes to fresh, contemporary reflections on society and everyday life. The program brings together films up to 40 minutes long in a variety of genres, with a special selection of animated films for young audiences that share important messages through African stories and open up new perspectives for the youngest viewers. On the first day, there will also be a conversation titled “Who Has the Right to Imagine the Future?” with Ivana Nimoh, producer of the poetic film Goodbye to the Wind, inspired by the life of Kwame Nkrumah. The festival is in English, and all films are subtitled in English, making it especially appealing to audiences eager to experience African voices and themes directly through contemporary short film.
