Museum of African Art, October 6, 2026 — Before the Book in English

The storytelling program Before the Book brings renewed attention to oral tradition and its place in contemporary identities, with a special focus on the experiences of Mali and Kenya. Hosted by Rahul Kiago and presented in English, the event invites the audience to experience storytelling as living heritage — not just a recorded past. In the inspiring setting of the Museum of African Art, visitors will follow how memory, voice, and collective storytelling travel through time and remain deeply relevant today.
