Museum of African Art, Thursday April 2nd – Creative Workshop for Seniors: Sewing Fashion Accessories from African Fabrics

The vibrant colors of African fabrics are coming to Belgrade! Every first Thursday of the month, the Museum of African Art hosts a special workshop for senior citizens (aged 55+), focused on printed African fabrics known as kitenge and ankara. Participants will have the chance to learn about the rich history of these fabrics, their role in African culture and everyday life, and gain hands-on experience in creating unique fashion accessories. With expert guidance and a friendly atmosphere, attendees can boost their creativity, meet new friends, and take home original items they've crafted themselves.
