Applied Arts Museum, June 1–10, 2026 – Submission for the 61st Children's October Salon: "It's About the Past"

The Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade warmly welcomes young artists and their mentors to the traditional 61st Children's October Salon, themed "It's About the Past." Throughout the first ten days of June, eager participants—from preschoolers to senior students—can submit or send in their artworks inspired by our nation's cultural heritage. This exhibition emphasizes the importance of preserving tradition, identity, and values through children's art, and the works will become part of a grand exhibition in October. Teachers and art educators are invited to explore our rich heritage with the youth and contribute to building a bridge between generations through drawing, painting, or illustration. Artwork submissions are open on weekdays from June 1 to June 10, 2026, at the museum premises located at Vuka Karadžića 18, Belgrade. This is a fantastic opportunity for young artists to shine and share their vision of the past with a broad audience.
