Museum of Applied Arts, May 20, 2026 – Grand Opening of the 58th May Exhibition 'Solidarity as a Challenge'

In the heart of Belgrade, a new chapter of artistic creation begins: the 58th May Exhibition 'Solidarity as a Challenge' unites 155 artists from various fields of applied arts and design. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the grand opening through an exciting art walk across three locations – starting at 6 PM at the 'Singidunum' Gallery, then at 7 PM at the 'Žad' Gallery of the Museum of Applied Arts, culminating at 8 PM in the 'Konak Kneginje Ljubice' with a festive cocktail. This exhibition, one of the most significant and oldest in Serbia, redefines artistic trends every year and brings together diverse disciplines – painting, sculpture, architecture, design, photography, textiles, set design, and art theory. This year's theme explores solidarity as an inspiration and a driving force in contemporary society and art.
